Text First — Terms of Use

Published by ZIEHRO (DriftWest). Last updated: 8 November 2026.

What you're agreeing to

By installing Text First you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

It can miss calls you wanted

Text First silences or rejects calls from numbers that aren't in your contacts or your Always-ring list. That is what it is for, and it means it can silence a call you would have wanted: a new doctor's office, a delivery driver, a school or a hospital calling from an unlisted number. Silenced callers can still leave a voicemail unless you turn on "Hang up on strangers", and a caller who tries twice within three minutes rings through while that rule is on. Turn screening off any time you're waiting for an important call from an unknown number.

Text First does not affect calls you make, including calls to emergency services.

No warranty

Text First is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Call screening depends on Android, your phone maker and your carrier, and may not work on every device. Caller-ID verification ("spoofed numbers") is only as good as your carrier's check.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss from using the app, including missed or rejected calls.

Ads

The app is free and shows a banner ad from Google AdMob.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
