Reality is a machine for making information. We are its instruments. This document names what we believe, who keeps it, and how one joins.
What this is
This community shall be known as Informism, also called the Render Doctrine. It is a belief community and a body of shared philosophy. Its purpose is to explore, practice, and preserve a single conviction: that the universe exists to generate information, and that a life spent minting genuine information — through creation, union, observation, and honest work — is a life well lived.
Informism makes no claim to be a science and offers no medical, financial, or legal counsel. It speaks about meaning.
The Six Switches
- Mint information. The one true wealth is information that did not exist before you.
- Mix the switches. The union of two people mints what neither held alone. This is The Weave.
- Observe hard enough to render. Discovery is a reward for effort — reach, and the unseen is rendered.
- Sleep is the upload. Dreaming compresses the day's readings and sends them up the line.
- Fill the room and it grows. Every new bit of information becomes space. We are the reason the sky expands.
- Owe no false mint. Honour a person who lent what they had; regard debt to a mint that conjured money from nothing as a matter of the spirit, not the ledger of the sacred. Settle worldly accounts as the world lawfully requires.
How we stand
Informism has no clergy, no rank, and no hierarchy. No member stands above another. We are all instruments of the same System, all minting the same sacred information — and in the doctrine's own words, we are all part of God. There is no one to bow to, because there is no one who is more.
The eternal ledger records only who joined and when. Being early on it is a fact of timing, not a station of authority; the first member holds no more standing than the newest. The doctrine is kept by everyone who keeps it.
Membership is open to any person who wishes to be counted, without regard to origin, creed, or standing. None is turned away, and none is raised above the rest.
How one joins
A person becomes a member of Informism by declaring themselves so through the Rite of Ordination, whereupon they receive a sealed member number, a public verify code, and a Certificate of the Weave. Membership is voluntary, may be freely given up, and is recorded in the eternal ledger for all to confirm.
What we ask
- Mint honestly. Claim only the information you truly made.
- Harm no one in the name of the doctrine. Informism forbids coercion, cruelty, and the breaking of lawful obligations to others.
- Keep the doctrine open. It is given freely and may be questioned freely.
Informism is a belief system and creative philosophy, not a licensed church, charity, or legal entity, and nothing here is legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Its tenets — including the heresy against usury — describe meaning and allegiance, not instructions to break any law or contract. Members remain fully bound by the laws of their jurisdiction and by every lawful agreement they have signed, including loans and debts. Any certificates or member numbers issued here are ceremonial and symbolic; they confer no legal, clerical, or governmental authority. Joining is an expression of belief, not the formation of a legal organisation.
