What you're dealing with
Informism is a belief system and creative philosophy written by Chris Ziehr and published at driftwest.xyz. It is not a registered church, charity, society or legal entity. Paid purchases are processed by Nimpact Environmental Ltd. (Alberta, Canada) through Stripe, and appear on your card statement as NIMPACT ENV* INFORMISM. Contact for everything: info@nimpact.ca.
A declaration, not a licence
Free membership and the paid Rendered Member certificate are symbolic keepsakes. They record that you joined and when. They give no legal, clerical, academic, professional or tax status. In particular, an Informism certificate does not let you perform marriages, sign official documents, or claim any religious exemption, in any country.
Nothing in the doctrine is legal, financial, medical or tax advice. The tenet on debt (Switch VI) is about meaning and allegiance. You remain bound by the law where you live and by every agreement you have signed, including loans.
Price, tax & refunds
- Price: the Rendered Member certificate costs $27 CAD, one time. Your bank converts the currency and may add its own fee. Nothing recurs; there is no subscription.
- Not a donation: the word "tribute" on the ordination page describes a purchase. It is not a charitable donation and no tax receipt is issued.
- Refunds: email info@nimpact.ca within 14 days of buying and you get a full refund, no questions asked. After 14 days we'll still consider it. This does not limit any consumer right you have under the law where you live.
- Age: you must be an adult where you live to buy. Anyone 13 or older may take the free membership.
- Card details are handled only by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
What we keep & who sees it
- We store: the name you type, your email if you give one, your member number, your verify code, the date you joined, and (for paid members) the Stripe payment reference.
- Public: anyone who has your verify code can see the name you entered, your member number, title and join date. That's how the certificate is proved. Your email is never shown. Use a first name or nickname if you prefer.
- Email: used to send your membership confirmation and receipt. We don't sell, share or rent it. Reply STOP to any message and you won't hear from us again.
- Where: stored on our own server in Canada. Stripe processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Leaving: membership can be given up at any time. Email info@nimpact.ca and we'll delete your record, or ask for a copy of what we hold. The "eternal ledger" is poetry, not a promise to keep your data against your wishes.

The fine print

- We may refuse or remove a membership name that is abusive, impersonates someone, or breaks the law.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep any protections your own country's law gives you.
- If these terms change, the date at the top changes. Changes never apply to a purchase already made.
