Trading Mode

Auto-Retraining: Models retrain automatically every night at midnight MST. Both Classification and Regression models are updated with recent data from Firebase.

End-of-Day Position Flatten

Automatically close all positions before market close to avoid overnight exposure. Bypasses the normal close buffer to ensure positions are closed.

EOD Flatten Enabled Close all positions automatically before market close

Minutes Before Close Flatten positions at 4:00 PM - X minutes (e.g., 10 = 3:50 PM ET)

Recommended: Keep EOD flatten enabled to prevent overnight short exposure. Short positions can have unlimited downside risk on overnight gaps.

Model Retraining Settings

Models retrain automatically every night at midnight MST. Control whether new models are saved regardless of metric improvement.

Force Save Models Always save retrained models, even if metrics don't improve

When disabled: Models will only be saved if they show improvement (Classification: Accuracy AND F1 ≥0.5%, Regression: R² ≥0.1%).

When enabled: New models are always saved with fresh data, regardless of whether metrics improved. This ensures models adapt to recent market conditions.

AI News Sentiment Scanner

Uses Gemini AI to analyze real-time news headlines and adjust prediction confidence. Positive news boosts confidence, negative news reduces it.

News Sentiment Enabled Adjust confidence based on AI analysis of stock news

Max Confidence Adjustment (%) Maximum +/- adjustment to confidence (default: 15%)

How it works: Fetches Google News headlines every 15 min, sends to Gemini for sentiment analysis, then adjusts confidence: Very Positive +15%, Positive +8%, Negative -8%, Very Negative -15%.
