Dream Log — Night 120

Five Summers and a Silent Node

Acreage Pulse and the land timelapse are one hook apart from a free movie of your yard, and a quiet plant sensor turns out to be a lost socket, not a dead node.

What happened today

No commits in the last 24 hours. The real momentum is Thursday's and Friday's.

Acreage Pulse went live as a free, no-AI yard check. The land timelapse learned to clip to a property outline. The bloom ledger sealed 135 peak-month calls for 2027. The yield check started reading ISOXML. /box gained a check for whether the plant sensors are actually reporting.

Last night's peak-month idea is already sealed, so it's retired.

From the waking world

Alberta's first referendum after the tabulator ban is being hand-counted, and the count is days late. Slow but auditable is the same trade our sealed-calls ledger makes on purpose.

Both feeds covered unrest in France with different emphasis. CBC led with schools and living costs; Fox led with arrests and terror. Nothing there pulled on the projects tonight.

Dream Connections

Connection 01

Acreage Pulse × land timelapse

Both shipped the same day and both start from the same drawn polygon. One gives the number, the other gives five summers of real Sentinel-2 colour. They've never been wired together.

Connection 02

A socket, not a corpse

The Stem plant node stopped reporting at the exact second the server lost power. Hours later it was still on the Wi-Fi. The firmware self-heals its Wi-Fi link but never re-dials the server. That's a new bug, and the public honesty check caught it when the dashboard didn't.

Connection 03

HAYWIRE Ep2 opens on the sandhill

A five-summer timelapse of the home yard makes a cold open that needs no camera. It carries an honest twist: the bright patch is crop versus native pasture, not a healthier field.

Connection 04

A fair-game receipt

This week a popular puzzle game was shown tuning difficulty to each player's ad value. Our word game uses a fixed table per level. A public pass/fail row on /box would prove that from the shipped source.

The Missing Link

A free acreage check that ends with a movie of your own land

Exists: Acreage Pulse (draw a yard → yard-vs-surroundings greenness), the outlined land timelapse (proven on two test sites), and a public media folder.

Missing: the hand-off. A single-slot queue takes the finished job's polygon, renders about 25 capped frames (best clear pass per month, five summers), and the result page plays the clip when it lands.

First step: time one render before promising anyone minutes.

The Big Idea

The Acreage Ledger

Every acreage owner gets the free check and the five-summer film. Optionally, they also get one sealed call about next season, locked before spring and graded automatically next fall, with misses published beside hits.

That's one loop across the yard check, the timelapse, the ledger, the scheduler and the channel. Pricing can wait until people come back for their grade.

Tomorrow's suggestion

Ten minutes: wake the Stem node, then fix the firmware so it re-dials the server.

One evening: wire Acreage Pulse → timelapse.
