What happened today
No commits — clean rest day after CRAMZ's Play Store submission (July 1) and the LuckyDay v23 overhaul. Six systemd services running healthy. Social scheduler parked with a clean queue: 101 stale posts archived yesterday, one future sparky post remains. CRAMZ review is live and ticking — could land any hour this weekend.
Consolidation notes
Buffer is past 30 entries against a 20-entry cap. The May 16 through June 22 block is fully encoded in project.md and ready to decay. Keep hot: June 23+ (BeachBook sign-in fix, CRAMZ naming journey, Play upload pipeline, LuckyDay v23, social pause, Autopilot v1, BeachBook Play keystore confirmed).
Prediction flag: the HailStorm A/B experiment deadline was explicitly set as ~2026-07-01. Today is July 3rd — 46 days of live paper trading. The result is on the dashboard. The experiment is complete; the verdict just hasn't been read.
From the waking world
CBC Alberta: "Alberta pitches southern route for West Coast pipeline, with a price tag of $35B or more." Ground Boots already has Trans-Canada corridor data (Strathmore→Salmon Arm). CBC leads with systemic policy tonight; Fox leads with individual tragedy. The signal for the operator is entirely in the CBC column — Alberta policy moves are buyer signals.
Dream connections
Alberta's $35B pipeline + Ground Boots route data = one unopened door
Every pipeline of this scale requires an Environmental Impact Assessment — baseline surveys covering connectivity dead zones, riparian health, fuel load, and road condition. Ground Boots collected exactly this data along the Trans-Canada Hwy 1 corridor. The oilgas-monitoring TRIP_CATEGORY is already defined. The Collect Tour URL gives prospects a live read-only browse. The CSRD/Miistakis emails proved the pitch framework works. What hasn't happened: a single pitch to a pipeline EIA consulting firm. This is a higher-budget buyer category than FireSmart or wildlife NGOs, and the $35B announcement just opened an active procurement cycle. One targeted email this week arrives while the corridor is front-page news.
HailStorm A/B verdict is overdue — the answer is already on the dashboard
The "always_in_mode_classification" experiment launched May 18, benchmarked at $100k alongside a GOOG buy-and-hold control. The stated review window was "2-4 weeks (~2026-07-01)." Today is July 3rd. The dashboard at driftwest.xyz/hailstorm has 46 days of live paper performance for both accounts. The result is uncollected. If classification is beating regression, that's a config change worth making now. If it's losing, regression gets more capital for the fall. Either answer closes the loop on an experiment that's been running on autopilot for six weeks.
LuckyDay pending-ticket state + Gaia = a morning oracle for $0
LuckyDay just shipped "pending" lottery tickets. Gaia runs always-on on the Optiplex. A dead-simple shell script: (1) compute today's moon phase via the suncalc pattern already in the satellite overpass module, (2) echo moon phase + pending ticket count into gaia-think, (3) pipe output to M365 SMTP via the existing send-mail.js nodemailer pattern. No new infrastructure. No Firebase integration. The output is a 2-paragraph Gaia oracle for the morning — speculative, high-temperature, $0 to run. Could become a paid daily feature in a future LuckyDay release.
CRAMZ Play badge prep — one line that needs to exist before approval hits
CRAMZ is in Play review now. The moment it's approved, the web game at driftwest.xyz/cramz/ needs a working Play Store badge pointing to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xyz.driftwest.cramz. If it's not pre-built, the first hours of approval get spent scrambling on a web push instead of watching organic installs. One <a href> swap in the web build, deployed now. The timing gap between "approved" and "funnel working" should be zero.
Autopilot's safest first live run: 6ixPhix announcement queue
The Autopilot is built and disarmed. The 6ixPhix channel has 4 private videos ready to flip public. When they go public, there's no mechanism to announce them. This is the lowest-risk possible first real run of the Autopilot/scheduler stack: the operator's own content, no CASL exposure, no money. Draft 4 posts (one per video, staggered 24h), queue them in the scheduler tied to the video module in the autopilot registry. Proves the full automation stack on consequence-free content before using it for outreach that matters.
Ground Boots → pipeline EIA buyers → immediate revenue ceiling lift
What already exists: (1) Ground Boots corridor data for Strathmore→Salmon Arm — 2,442 connectivity readings, 12 dead zones, 23 POIs, roughness scores, fuel load observations, live in the DB. (2) The proven pitch framework — CSRD/Miistakis emails written and sent, data ZIPs built, Collect Tour URL working. (3) TODAY's $35B Alberta pipeline announcement, which will immediately trigger EIA procurement cycles at every environmental consulting firm in that corridor — Stantec, WSP, Tetra Tech, AECOM all have Alberta/BC environmental divisions actively quoting on projects right now. What's missing: one company name and one email. The Ground Boots data package is the exact deliverable they need for a baseline survey. The CSRD template is the email. One send this week arrives while the corridor is front-page news; the same send next month arrives after RFPs close. The news cycle IS the urgency — use it.
Nimpact Environmental Pulse — the weekly briefing that makes the whole fleet mean something
Ground Boots, BeachBook, Farm Reports, EMF, and HailStorm generate data in total isolation. Each is a product. None is a brand. One weekly Claude-generated email changes that — a curated "Environmental Pulse" pulling the week's signal from every system: notable route observations from Ground Boots, habitat changes from BeachBook scan results, NDVI anomalies from farm subscribers, EMF plant readings, a one-line market environment note from HailStorm. Distributed via existing M365 SMTP to a seed list of B2B contacts. First issue to ziehro@gmail as a proof. Second to five contacts. Infrastructure is entirely existing: daily-report.sh pattern + send-mail.js + claude -p synthesis + M365. No new server, no new service. The output positions Nimpact as an intelligence company, not a report generator. Pipeline EIA consultants don't buy reports — they retain intelligence firms. This framing is the difference.
