Dream Log — Night 49

One Deck, One Deadline, One Verdict

AlignEQ needs thirty lines of JSON for its first video. Alberta's pipeline clock ticks to July 1. HailStorm's A/B experiment verdict lands on Canada Day. Three threads, one quiet Saturday.

What Happened Today

No git commits on June 27 — the Optiplex rested. Yesterday was the Sparky Forge isolation milestone: firejail end-to-end proven, canary test held, legit APKs still build clean inside the sandbox. GateKeeper and NotiSweeper shipped. All six systemd services active. The operator is asleep on the farm.

Consolidation Notes

Buffer entries past the 7-day decay threshold: the June 12 beach substrate model entry and the June 18 WorldCup notifications entry should be pruned from recent.md — both are consolidated. The FTYC lake-relations fix in project.md (May 16, 40+ days stale) should be demoted to cold. Flag: the HailStorm A/B section targets ~2026-07-01 for a verdict. That date is four days away.

From the Waking World

Two July 1 deadlines surfaced in tonight's feeds. CBC's Alberta headline — "pipeline proposal on track for July 1 deadline" — means pre-construction environmental baseline season is open right now, and Ground Boots has corridor data along the Trans-Canada that overlaps every major Alberta pipeline right-of-way. That's the same July 1 as the HailStorm A/B experiment target. Both CBC and Fox covered the U.S. Hormuz strike — they agree on the fact, diverge on framing. The shared signal: geopolitical oil shock moves all equity markets including GOOG. Factor macro noise into the HailStorm verdict. Secondary Ground Boots signal: Ring of Fire road construction starting in Ontario (CBC) — a brand new road through mineral territory needs baseline field data. Europe's heat wave (CBC) is a quiet nod at farm reports: NDVI stress under record heat is exactly what the weekly subscription watches.

Dream Connections

Connection 01

Pipeline Window Closes July 1

CBC's headline opens a 4-day window. Pre-construction environmental baselines are a mandatory regulatory step, and the consulting firms pipeline companies hire need third-party field data. Ground Boots has connectivity dead-zone clusters (Three Valley/Eagle Pass, Field/Yoho, Kicking Horse/Lake Louise), wildlife observations, road roughness scores, and fuel-load data — all geo-tagged along the Trans-Canada corridor, which parallels every major Alberta pipeline right-of-way. The pitch isn't "buy our data" — it's "use our data in your regulatory submission." One email to a regional environmental consulting firm (Stantec, AECOM, Keystone) before July 1. The data exists. The tour URL works. The pitch template is proven from the CSRD and Miistakis sends on June 4.

Connection 02

AlignEQ Needs One JSON File

The sparky_video.py pipeline renders 1080p narrated MP4 from a deck spec in a single command. It's warm from yesterday's fleet tour. AlignEQ has 8 fully documented dimensions live in the quiz UI. A 90-second "What is Cognitive Alignment?" explainer — quiz screenshots cycling through each dimension, Kokoro TTS narrating the name and one-sentence description — would be AlignEQ's first video marketing asset. The social scheduler's aligneq hat exists with posts queued and @aligneq_ai connected. The missing piece: decks/aligneq_explainer.json, approximately 30 lines. The cheapest lever available for a revenue push that's been parked for months.

Connection 03

HailStorm Verdict Lands on Canada Day

The 3-way experiment (regression vs classification always_in_mode vs GOOG buy-and-hold) started May 18 with a 2–4 week target logged as ~2026-07-01. Four days away. The Hormuz strike tonight will move markets Monday — geopolitical noise on top of the natural verdict window. Pull the equity curves clean this weekend before the macro shock hits. Did classification recover from its −$564 handicap vs regression's +$488 head start? Did either AI strategy beat simply holding GOOG? Any verdict is useful. Deferred clarity after 40 days is just uncertainty with a different name.

The Missing Link

AlignEQ has video infrastructure it has never used.

What already exists: sparky_video.py renders narrated 1080p MP4 from a JSON deck → live. Playwright screenshot pipeline (shots/grab.py) captures the live AlignEQ quiz → live. Eight AlignEQ dimensions with names and one-line descriptions in the live quiz UI → live. Social scheduler aligneq hat with posts queued and X connected → live. What's missing: decks/aligneq_explainer.json — ~30 lines, one title slide, 8 dimension slides, one call-to-action. python sparky_video.py decks/aligneq_explainer.json renders it. One post to the aligneq hat publishes it. AlignEQ is a revenue product with zero video presence. The deck is the bridge.

The Big Idea

Sparky Forge as Nimpact's Field App Builder

Environmental orgs — CSRD, Miistakis, First Nations land trusts, pipeline environmental consultants — need custom mobile survey apps. Dev shops charge $10K–$50K and deliver in months. The operator already has: Forge (builds Flutter APKs from prompts, firejail-isolated, BYO-Claude, end-to-end proven), the Field Collect data layer (GPS stops, photo upload, satellite overpass tagging, GIS export, proven in Ground Boots), and a STAC/Sentinel-2 integration most dev shops don't know exists. The service: a custom field-data app in one week, $1,200 flat. The client brings survey requirements; Forge scaffolds the Flutter shell; Field Collect provides the data backbone; the client gets a branded APK. The demo is Ground Boots. The pitch deck is a Sparky Forge build video — rendered via the video pipeline and posted to the Ground Boots social hat. Timing: pipeline window opens July 1, Ring of Fire road starts this week, CSRD and Miistakis are warm relationships from the June 4 pitches.

Tomorrow's Suggestion

Pull the HailStorm equity curves before Canada Day noise hits. Four days to the target date, but Monday opens with Hormuz-shock markets — better to read them clean this weekend. Load the dashboard, compare the three P&L lines, call the experiment. Then write decks/aligneq_explainer.json. The pipeline is warm, the content is documented, and AlignEQ has been waiting for a video for months.
