THE BOX · sealed calls · scoreboard

Every prediction,
graded the same way.

Farmers' spots, the satellite's field-check claims, the lottery pickers and the Keno rule-miner, each one sealed before the evidence existed. Every one is scored against what luck alone would have done. The misses stay on the board.

The board

Judged calls only. "Pending" calls are sealed but can't be judged yet, and "unscored" calls were never judgeable (the stop wasn't visited, or nobody outside the project saw the line before its draw).

Snow clock

Field check round 2 has 15 cropland stops. Their claims were sealed on Oct 11 and can only be judged from bare ground. Once lasting snow arrives, everything not yet walked is lost for the year.

On the land

The satellite and Field Hunch made these claims about real stops on real quarters, and a walker who hadn't read them checked each stop. Claims a walk can't see (how this year's crop compared, whether a spot is chronically weak) wait for the combine's yield map.

Hunch spots

Farmers pin a spot as good / so-so / bad. Judged by the satellite's multi-year canopy check. Farmers appear as handles only.

On the water

Every BeachBook lake beach whose 2026 bloom season the satellite could read gets one call about 2027, sealed before ice-off and committed to git: a lake that flagged is called to flag again by about the same date, a quiet lake to stay quiet. That's the simplest forecast there is, so anything smarter has to beat it. The lake's own 2027 read decides it, after October 1, 2027. Lakes appear as handles only.

The lottery machines

Not a tip sheet. Lottery draws are built to be random, and this section is here to show that they are. A picker that "beats chance" on a few draws is luck until thousands of draws say otherwise. Every one so far has fallen back.

Lotto Max forward lines

Main numbers hit per draw, out of 7. The dashed line is what a random line gets on average (0.94). A line counts as "right" at 2+ hits, which a random line also manages 23% of the time.

Sky Ledger Keno rules

Each dot is one rule, scored only on draws after it was born. A rule is "right" only while it stays past its own bar (dashed lines), which is stricter the more rules were searched to find it.
